One of my coworkers was hosting a party for his local animal shelter (I think) and asked me if I could make him some animal-themed cupcakes. When he first requested the cupcakes, he specifically mentioned NO CHOCOLATE, which I thought was sort of strange. Turns out, there was going to be a lot of dogs there, so he wanted to make sure the animals could get a tasty treat without fear of getting sick. How considerate!
I made vanilla, lemon, and coconut cupcakes. Each flavor was designated by a different shape.
In the end, I made 120 cupcakes. They were stacked up all over the dining room table and I was up to my elbows in red icing. Hopefully all the puppies enjoyed them!
