Andrew and I met up for dinner after work and while I was waiting for him a storm rolled in.
I walked around for a little while and found a funky used toy shop.
We had a beautiful weekend so we decided to head to the country and go apple picking.
We were able to pick our own Asian pears. I had never seen that before!
It was a perfect day for apple picking.
I think we left with a pretty good haul.
Before we left we stopped and had some apple fritters.
On the way home we stopped for lunch at this great local sandwich place.
I decided to make try my hand at making an apple pie.
Liz gave me this apple peeler a while ago and I fully put it to use. Such a time saver!
