More Donuts! (52/366)

by Simmie on February 21, 2012

in 365Project

(52/366) Can one have too many donuts in his or her life? I come from the land of Dunkin’ Donuts. My hometown has nine Dunkin’ Donuts. NINE. And the crazy thing is that we actually have other donut shops besides Dunkin’ Donuts. Apparently Haverhill has a really big need for coffee. Anyways…Elise came back from [...]

Valentine’s Pineapple (51/366)

(51/366) Really? What says loves if not a pineapple? A pineapple that you then chop up into wedges and scarf down while watching Restaurant Impossible and the CAPS on TV. The romance is alive over here.

Why Do My Friends Put Up With Me? (50/366)

by Simmie on February 20, 2012

in 365Project

(50/366) Today’s photo of the day is a three-for-one. I really miss hanging out with Melissa, Jen, and Elise on a regular basis. Judging by these photos, they might think otherwise.

Donuts! (49/366)

by Simmie on February 19, 2012

in 365Project,Eating Adventures

(49/366) This morning (afternoon) we got up and made our way to Doughnut Plant near Chinatown. Andrew and I actually went here the last time we were in New York, but it’s totally worth another visit. Sadly, our otherwise excellent visit was marred by the above doughnut carnage. Melissa, Elise, Jen, Evan, Andrew, Brad, and [...]

Twins (48/366)

by Simmie on February 18, 2012

in 365Project

(48/366) We made it to New York! After a late start, we hit the road and Elise was a driving champ. Luckily there was no random traffic and finding Jen and Evan’s place was a breeze. When we got here…Evan and Andrew were dressed alike. I’m pretty sure they call each other in the mornings [...]

Heading to the Big City (47/366)

by Simmie on February 17, 2012

in 365Project,Andrew

(47/366) We’re hitting the open road tomorrow and heading up to NEW YORK CITY. That’s right, we’re hitting the big time. I’m so excited. I’m already planning my visits to Times Square (I hope I see the naked cowboy!), the Today Show (darn it, they don’t film on the weekends, do they?), and that Statue [...]

When The Moon Hits Your Eye (46/366)

by Simmie on February 15, 2012

in 365Project

(46/366) Today I found myself…if I was a shopping center. Andrew and I decided to go check out this kosher pizza place we had randomly seen a couple of months ago. It’s pretty close to our house, but the last time we were there it was a Friday night, and well…you know the deal. So [...]

Valentine’s Day (45/366)

by Simmie on February 14, 2012

in 365Project

(45/366) This is a photo of the things I received today for Valentine’s Day. I think they’re all pretty awesome. Elise made me that super amazing challah cover. Seriously, she was bored today and she created art for me. I love it. Andrew gave me a box of chocolates. This is perfect, because I asked [...]

Daisies (44/366)

in 365Project,Andrew

(44/366) Andrew brought me daisies today. I also threw a glass of water in Andrew’s face. I will let you decide if the two were related … … … They weren’t.

Gummi Bears (43/366)

by Simmie on February 12, 2012

in 365Project

(43/366) When Elise came here a couple of weeks ago she brought some of the best gummi bears I’ve ever had with her. We managed to stretch them until today. The chocolate covered ones didn’t even make it a day. So I consider this a worthy demonstration of self-control.

by Simmie on February 12, 2012

in 365Project

(42/366) Jim is here visiting for the weekend. Jim is Elise’s boyfriend. Much like Elise, Jim is awesome. I will be sad when Jim goes home. I think Elise will be more sad. Hopefully we see Jim again soon!

Made It! (41/366)

by Simmie on February 11, 2012

in 365Project

(41/366) Today we all weighed in for our competition tomorrow. While I was there, I ran into a few of my teammates (I wasn’t kidding when I said they were 12.) and we all successfully made weight. It was a process I hope to improve on in the future. Don’t we all look so excited? [...]
