My mom and Linda left today. 🙁
This was such a fun few days with them. Not only did we walk all over kingdom come, see a whole lotta sights, and basically keep our days packed to the brim, but it was also just really fun to hang out with them. I’ve known Linda basically since I can remember and it was cool to help her experience some of the things she’s always wanted to do. Also, she LOVES the Washington Monument.
Also, I just want to note that it took almost 12 years, but my mom has finally embraced “The Jackster” nickname. She even signs her notes to us that way. I think it’s hilarious that it’s signed “The Jackster” with “mom” in parentheses (I guess just in case I forget who The Jackster is. Who am I kidding, The Jackster is unforgettable.). Also, her friends call her “JB” which makes me chuckle for some reason.

I had such a wonderful time seeing all the sights in Washington, D.C. and Gettysburg, PA. Simmie, you and Andrew were gracious hosts and the best tour guides! Thanks for a great time! I’ll be back!
