This is a big year for me in terms of wedding cakes. I’ve already made one wedding cake this year and I have three more lined up. Considering before this year I’d only ever made three wedding cakes total (including my own), this is exciting.
I’m making a cake next week for a travel loving couple. Their cake design has some adorable travel themed robots as cake toppers and I’m using edible stamps as embellishments. I went to the cake store to get the images printed and got an extra sheet so I could play around with them before the real deal. I’m impressed with the quality of the images on the edible paper. I’ve never used these before, but it’s definitely opening up a whole new world of decorating.
