Headstand

When I’m home, I’ve got a lot to balance. Between Andrew and work and taekwondo and temple and friends, I’m busy.

But down here, many of those activities are not available. I still have work and I still talk to Andrew everyday, but there’s no taekwondo and no temple. There’s also less baking and fewer friends. But I’m keeping busy.

One thing we’ve gotten into a routine of doing is yoga twice a week. I’m still a yoga beginner, but my gymnastics background certainly doesn’t hurt. I’ve been able to do a gymnastics headstand since I was about five, but the yoga headstand is still a work in progress. But with a little help getting up, I can usually hold it for a while. It’s just balance.

  1. That is impressive form. I haven’t attempted a headstand in yoga because I’m terrified of injuring my neck.

    If you had been like one foot further to your left, your feet would have been centered in front of the archway.

    I like your orange yoga mat!
