As the summer goes by, somehow I keep collecting more and more sandals. Each day they magically appear, tracking in loads of sand along with them.
This afternoon I played some beach volleyball. I think all of the Olympic volleyball I have been watching has rubbed off on me. Sometimes I was actually able to hit the ball. And sometimes it went over the net! Of course, there was that instance in which I tripped over nothing and fell on my face before I even had a chance to try to hit the ball. Grace is still not one of my strong points.
In other news, being one of the few 28 year old females on the program means that you are the only one who’s ever heard of The Babysitters Club books. Not that I was an avid fan of the books (I preferred Encyclopedia Brown and The Boxcar Kids myself), but they’re sort of a staple of my childhood. Funny to think now it’s Harry Potter and Twilight. I wonder what it’s going to be in the future?

I also read the Babysitter’s Club books, though I am sadly not 28 like you. 😛 But Encyclopedia Brown was one of my favorites, I distinctly remember something about an exploding toilet? haha.
