So…this morning the weather got the best of us. We once again were up at 1 AM to head to the launch. And once again we were disappointed and returned home at 5:30 without seeing the rocket go up. Now with tropical storm Isaac heading out way, the next attempt isn’t until Thursday, August 30th. To say I am bummed is an understatement.

Alas, we could not mope all day. So after getting a little bit of sleep, we headed west to take an airboat ride. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it was super cool. We saw a few gators, including one super close and chillin’ on top of the grass.
It was a small consolation for another disappointing day. Up early again tomorrow in hopes to beat the storm out of Florida.
