We were lucky with Hurricane Sandy. We never lost power and honestly had really no ill effects from the storm. Neither of us had to go to work today, but we did have to work from home. I’m surprisingly productive at home. Apparently sitting in my pajamas on the couch with snack food and a pillow close at hand is conducive to finishing work.
Having been housebound for a few days (but with power!), Andrew and I got into watching the BBC series, Sherlock.
Have you seen it? If you haven’t, you should. It’s excellent. It’s clever, engaging, and we got through all six episodes over the last two days. Sadly the next series hasn’t even started filming yet, so we’re going to have to wait a long, long time to resolve this cliff hanger they’ve left us with.

My friends have an INSANE obsession with that show. The thing that stood out most to me in the 15 minutes I saw was that the assistant was in Love Actually.
