Elise is staying with us for the night before she heads back to San Diego. Jim’s flight wasn’t out until later tonight, so they both came back to our place this morning after Jen and Evan’s post-wedding brunch. After an afternoon of catching up on Sherlock, they finally taught me how to play Ticket to Ride. Jim is, possibly a bigger board game buff than Andrew. I lost miserably, but it was still fun.
Then, just like when she lived with us, Elise made us dinner. She made us a pork loin and served it with faro and a slaw. It was delicious. This is just one reason why we’d jump at the chance to have Elise live with us again. That and her charming personality of course.
