Today was the first day of Melissa’s two day wedding extravaganza! We’re starting the weekend with her bachelorette party and finishing it up with her wedding shower. Her sister Meri planned her bachelorette party and it was awesome. The entire afternoon and evening was full of activities that were all tons of fun. We had an amazing dinner and our hotel was phenomenal.
As we strolled through the city, I was struck by what a cool group of friends Melissa has assembled. We all came from all walks of her life and yet all of us got along famously. As we were walking from activity to activity, I found myself talking to someone else each time and the conversation never stalled and was always interesting. It was just a really neat feeling and I can’t wait to see them all again at the wedding in a few weeks.
