A Trip to the Dentist

A Trip to the Dentist – that sounds like the title of a children’s book or something. Oh, it is something. It’s the title of a Veronica Mars episode. Have you guys watched Veronica Mars? It’s awesome. Well, the first season is awesome. The second season was ok. The third season was…not that good. But that first season was exceptional.

Anyways…today I went to the dentist. This is earth shattering news, I know. Actually, I’m not one of those people who hasn’t been to the dentist in two years. The last time I was at the dentist was…six months ago.

I do have a confession though. The dentist is my least favorite doctor. When I go to the regular doctor, I’m in pretty good shape and always wear my helmet when bike riding so there’s not too much to complain about. When I go to the eye doctor, my eyes are terrible, but I figure there’s not too much I can do about that. When I go to the dentist, I never floss enough, I eat too much candy, and I’m bound to have a cavity. My total need to succeed is always crushed at the dentist. And it’s all true. I don’t floss enough (who does?), I eat too much candy (candy is so good!), and I have a bunch of cavities. It makes me sad.

However, this trip was different. Since the last time I was there, I’ve been working on the flossing, I don’t eat as many lifesavers, and I have no cavities! Victory!

Now, I will go swig some soda, eat a caramel apple, and munch on some corn nuts. (Just kidding! (Maybe))

Nah, this weekend I’m gearing up for a Wedding Extravaganza. Not the wedding I’m making the cake for, another wedding. It’s number two of four this year. It’s going to be awesome. There will be food and cake and dancing and drinks. Oh, and commitment and love and all that stuff too. But there will be cake!

Also, since Andrew only looks at the pictures in my posts, here’s a picture of me eating bread.
