I get really hot when I play derby. Sometimes you have to take extreme measures to cool down.
Jen and Evan came over for dinner and Jen brought me a belated birthday gift. She is really top notch when it comes to wrapping gifts. I can never be bothered to make them look this nice.

I made orange chicken for dinner one night. It was not very orange. Tasty though.
We tried to be trendy for dinner one night and grilled leeks. They were not very good.
We also pan fried shishito peppers because that’s the fad these days.
For the main course Andrew made ribs in the oven. I bought ribs because they were on sale. Win-win.
