Seriously, that’s the slogan for the Brevard County Manatees who are a Single A affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers. A group of headed to Spacecoast Stadium (spring training home to the Washinton Nationals!) to check out a game. Since it was Social Medium Night (seriously, like the team on Facebook or follow them on Twitter) and you got free entry into the game.

Minor league games are fun. Rosanna and I decided to become superfans complete with Manatee t-shirts and foam fingers. There were times were I think we were the only ones cheering in the stadium. Minor league games are fun, but not always popular. The place was mostly empty, so our superfandom did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately we did not come home with a picture of us with Manny the Manatee mascot. Something to strive for next time.

Also, I managed to go all day without finding out that Danell Leyva (and his lucky towel) managed to score a medal in the men’s all-around. Woo USA! Let’s keep on going! I’m going ot be a bundle of nerves tomorrow for the women’s all-around competition. My fingers and toes are crossed!
