This was my view all day. And I mean, ALL DAY. We spent 14 hours in a car today driving from Maryland to Massachusetts. In those fourteen hours, we only stopped twice, neither stop for longer than 7 minutes. We drove through rain, snow, sleet, and the company of dozens of terrible drivers. We spent an hour behind a PT Cruiser going 30 mph slower than necessary who drifted into straddling the lanes if you tried to pass her. At 9:30 PM tonight we finally rolled up to my mom’s house (which btw, is a different color and has a new address since I last lived here. The house didn’t move, just everything about it changed.)
But we’re here. And it’s Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday!
